Ride the Wind, Unite for Gangzhong | The 2nd Gangzhong Hiking Expedition 2026 Concludes Successfully
2026-09-16

Measure strength with footsteps, forge the team with solidarity

To enrich the spare-time cultural life of all Gangzhong staff, ease work pressure, temper willpower, and strengthen cross-departmental collaboration and cohesion, the company kicked off its 2nd hiking team-building activity during the September Campaign Month. All Gangzhong team members embarked on a 20-kilometer hiking journey together.

Beyond desks and screens lie mountains and faraway lands

Temporarily stepping away from busy work routines, everyone embraced the natural beauty of the outdoors. Adhering to the principle of safety first, no racing and full participation, all participants were divided into 8 cross-departmental mixed teams to break down departmental barriers, with colleagues from different positions walking side by side. From assembly and preparation in the early morning to the successful reunion at the finish line, all Gangzhong team members accompanied and supported one another along the way, completing this hiking challenge for the Gangzhong family.

Early in the morning, everyone assembled at the company to sign in and collect hiking gear before departure. The team proceeded to the starting point and took group photos by the themed backdrop. Bright smiles showed great morale.

During the opening ceremony, the coach briefed participants on hiking rules, discipline and safety notes. Teams raised their flags and chanted slogans. After warming up, the eight groups departed one after another to start the 20km hike.

Check-in & Interaction

Multiple checkpoints were set up along the route for interactive activities. With fun tasks and playful poses, participants completed interesting check-in missions while covering the first 10 kilometers. Photographers within each team captured wonderful moments and recorded the team’s highlights along the way.

Great Support, Warmth of Gangzhong

Mobile supply stations offered warmth along the trail, fully stocked with drinking water, energy drinks, light meals, snacks and first-aid supplies. At noon, all participants arrived at the rest area to enjoy catered lunch. After a short break for eating, resting and stretching, each team took roll call to recharge for the second half of the challenge.

The Second Half: A Test of Collaboration

Faced with physical fatigue, no one fought alone. Colleagues with better stamina voluntarily slowed down to accompany teammates who were less fit, offering encouragement and mutual support. Speed did not matter; what counted was moving forward together. Sweaty yet heartwarming moments of mutual help could be seen everywhere along the trail. Participants kept completing check-in tasks and enjoyed the journey.

Glorious Finale, Witness Team Highlights

After hours of hiking, teams arrived at the finish line one after another. The closing award ceremony was held as scheduled. Trophies and prizes were presented to the winning teams in recognition of their perseverance and collaboration. Every colleague who completed the whole hike received an exclusive finisher medal, a badge of their personal endeavour.

Team captains shared their genuine reflections on the hiking activity. Leadership delivered closing remarks for the team-building event, acknowledging the team spirit of all staff who pressed forward together despite fatigue. In the end, all participants gathered in front of the camera for a group photo, bringing the hiking event to a successful close.

The hike may end, yet the journey continues ✨

The Best Team Spirit Award — Best Moments Contest will be held afterwards. The eight teams will submit representative photos or videos, and an online company-wide vote will be launched to select the most touching team moments from the hike. Winning teams will receive surprise gifts. Stay tuned!

Keep walking, unite and set off again. There was fatigue and sweat along the way, yet more encouragement from teammates and touching moments of walking side by side.

The 20-kilometer hike was not only a minor test of personal willpower, but also an in-depth integration of the team. At work, we perform our respective duties and go all out. In the wilderness, we lay aside busyness and watch out for one another. Let us bring the perseverance, solidarity and cohesion gained on the trail back to our posts. Moving forward, may all Gangzhong members continue to ride the wind, unite as one and march hand in hand toward the next journey!
